The seat of the Piaggio MP3 Sport 500 can be unlocked with a remote control which also doubles up as a Bike Finder which sets off the indicators, making it easy to locate your scooter in a crowded parking lot. The seat eases up smoothly thanks to the convenient shock absorber mechanism. There is also a practical parking brake lever on the rear shield.

The Piaggio MP3 Sport 500 is fitted with a front suspension blocking mechanism which keeps the scooter balanced on all three wheels so you don’t need to rest your feet on the ground to stay upright when you stop for lights or a pedestrian crossing. The Sport version of the Piaggio MP3 Sport 500 is distinguished by the “Sport” plate on the rear of the tail and the numerous items in matt grey finish, the diamond-edged wheel rims and central tunnel moulding. The black seat of the Sport version is notable for its lining in two different materials and red stitching.

The smoke-grey windshield can be adjusted to three different heights whilst the headlights and indicators have seven high-efficiency LED daytime lights, technology usually seen in the four-wheel world. The rear lights also use LED technology. The wheel rims boast an elegant five-split-spoke design and the instrument cluster pairs two analogue elements with a central multi-function LCD panel.
